This client wanted to integrate their established brand character into a new, vibrant environment. The idea was to put a unique spin on a sweet candy-themed design, in an anime style, while using bright and vibrant colors.

We began the design process with a detailed sketch to outline the composition and create a usable shape for a custom-shaped bag. The top of the design needed to be wide enough to fit a usable zipper, so we opted to place the striped tent-style awning above the character to allow for a large zipper opening.

To solidify the candy shop theme, we filled the foreground with hand-drawn fruit and candy characters and added pieces of candy to the background.
